UX Designer Tools Figma Duration 3 months Team PM, Engineering Team Lead, Front-End Engineers, Back-End Engineer, Quality Assurance OverviewAs AI continues to expand its influence, Leadr saw an opportunity to integrate it in a way that truly benefits our customers. In our applications, certain sections provide users with a wealth of information, but making sense of it all has often been a manual and time-consuming task.
One such area is the Meetings page, where users can view the Working Genius profiles of their teammates—a framework developed by Patrick Lencioni that identifies six key strengths people bring to work. Understanding these strengths helps teams collaborate more effectively by ensuring the right people are engaged in the right tasks. The WhyTo make this process even more intuitive, we developed an AI-powered chatbot that helps teams apply the Working Genius framework in real time. This solution provides actionable insights, making it easier to align each team member’s strengths with the goals of the meeting.

IdeationIn exploring different ways to enhance the user experience, I brainstormed several concepts. One idea was integrating a chatbot into our reviews section to summarize key trends. Reading through an entire review can be overwhelming, and recalling past feedback when revisiting a review months later isn’t always easy. I wondered—what if users could see a snapshot comparing where they were six months ago to today?
Another concept that emerged was a spider chart to track key characteristics over time. Building on this, I explored how we might visualize before-and-after insights on meeting effectiveness within the Meetings page.
As we continued iterating, the idea evolved into embedding an AI-powered chat experience within meetings—allowing users to better understand and collaborate based on their teammates' Working Genius profiles. However, I quickly recognized that the Meetings page was already overloaded with information. Rather than cramming a chatbot into an already dense interface, I explored a tabbed experience that streamlined the layout while keeping essential meeting details accessible only when needed.
To reinforce the AI-driven nature of the feature and differentiate it visually, we introduced a dynamic gradient. However, we later changed the design to be a simple chatbot. After testing the colors with the new design, we found that the colors didn’t meet accessibility standards, so we refined the design to ensure a more inclusive experience.
ResultsThe AI-powered chatbot made it easier to extract key team insights, helping users quickly understand and apply their teammates’ Working Genius strengths. The tabbed interface kept meetings organized, reducing clutter while ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.
